What is considered to be an emergency repair?

An emergency repair is something that needs to be fixed straightaway, and where there is a potential danger to your or your household’s health and safety or serious damage to the building. Examples of an emergency repair are:

  • No power to the property
  • Damage to ground floor windows which affects the safety of the occupants
  • Insecure external doors
  • Non containable leaks or floods
